Product Terms Summary
Last updated: 26 March 2026
Note: Product names are provisional and subject to change. The terms below apply regardless of the name under which this product is marketed.
This summary forms part of and should be read alongside the Rently Pte. Ltd. Terms and Conditions (last updated 26 March 2026), available at https://rently.sg/terms.
These product terms (“Product Terms”) form part of and are subject to the Master Terms of Service. In the event of any conflict between these Product Terms and the Master Terms of Service, these Product Terms shall prevail.
IMPORTANT: Please read this summary carefully before activating this product. It creates a binding reimbursement obligation each time Rently makes a payment to your Landlord.
Delay Rent Payments is an optional add-on through which Rently, acting as principal and using its own funds, makes periodic payments to your Landlord. You then reimburse Rently for the amount paid, plus a service fee, according to an agreed repayment schedule.
Rently is not collecting your rent on your behalf and passing it on. Rently pays your Landlord from Rently's own funds, independently of any payment from you. Your obligation to Rently is a separate reimbursement obligation — not your rent obligation under your Tenancy Agreement.
You are solely responsible for the Landlord bank account details you provide to Rently. Rently makes payments based on those details and cannot independently verify them. If a payment is misdirected because you provided incorrect, incomplete, or outdated details, your reimbursement obligation to Rently for that payment remains in full force. Rently will not be responsible for any loss arising from a misdirected payment where it has acted in good faith on the details you supplied, except to the extent that any such loss arises from Rently's own fraud or gross negligence.
Each time Rently makes a payment to your Landlord, you are immediately and unconditionally obligated to reimburse Rently for the full amount, plus fees. This obligation arises at the time of Rently's payment and cannot be cancelled retroactively.
Your reimbursement obligation is not affected by:
When you activate this product, you will choose the date each month on which Rently will collect your reimbursement. This is the date you pay Rently — it is separate from the date Rently pays your Landlord.
Rently pays your Landlord on or before the rent due date stipulated in your Tenancy Agreement, using Rently's own funds. Your repayment to Rently falls on the date you have separately selected, which will typically be after the date Rently has paid your Landlord. Your chosen repayment date and the landlord payment date operate independently — your obligation to reimburse Rently arises at the time Rently makes the landlord payment, and is collected from you on your selected repayment date.
Your chosen repayment date cannot extend beyond your next scheduled rent payment date. The maximum deferral available to you is therefore the number of days between Rently's payment to your Landlord and your next rent due date.
You may request a change to your repayment date by contacting Rently. Any change will take effect from the following cycle.
This product is recurring by default. Once activated, Rently will make payments to your Landlord on a monthly basis, and a corresponding reimbursement obligation will arise each cycle, until the product is cancelled.
A service fee applies to each cycle. The fee will be clearly disclosed to you before you activate this product. Rently may update fees with at least 14 days' written notice.
If any reimbursement to Rently is not made on the due date, an administrative late payment fee of S$5 per day will apply for each day the amount remains outstanding, up to a maximum of S$150 per late payment incident. Fees are not compounded and do not constitute interest. Once the cap is reached, Rently's remedy is suspension and collection rather than continued accrual. Rently may pursue collection through legal means if amounts remain unpaid, including engaging collection agencies and reporting to credit bureaus.
All reimbursements to Rently must be made through the automated payment method set up via the Platform. If you make a payment outside of this setup for any reason, you must include your Rently account reference number in the payment reference. Without it, Rently may not be able to allocate your payment promptly, and late payment fees may accrue until the payment is matched to your account.
You may cancel this product by contacting Rently at support@rently.sg or through the Platform (if available). Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 3 days before the next scheduled payment cycle to take effect for that cycle. Cancellation does not affect reimbursement obligations already incurred.
Rently may cancel this product at its sole discretion — for example, if you miss a payment, breach the Terms and Conditions, or for risk management reasons. Rently will provide reasonable prior notice where practicable. All outstanding reimbursement obligations remain due immediately upon cancellation.
Rently acts as principal in making payments to your Landlord. Rently is not a payment intermediary, remittance service, or escrow agent. Rently's payment to your Landlord does not make Rently a party to your Tenancy Agreement, and Rently has no liability for your Landlord's actions or your tenancy obligations.
Full terms governing Delay Rent Payments are set out in Section 9 of the Rently Pte. Ltd. Terms and Conditions (last updated 26 March 2026), available at https://rently.sg/terms.
